If you're reading this at 2 a.m.
You know this feeling.
Maybe your relationships are strained. Maybe work feels impossible and the bills keep coming anyway. Maybe you're just tired in a way that sleep doesn't fix. If a mental health crisis has knocked the wind out of you, you don't have to explain yourself here. The first step back rarely looks dramatic. Sometimes it's as small as letting in one sliver of light, or finally putting the key in a door you've been avoiding. That's enough to start.
Our approach
We want you healed. Not just helped.
A lot of resources are built to help you manage. We built ours to help you heal, body, mind and spirit, together. Thriving In Recovery pairs biblical principles with practical mental wellness tools you can use alongside your therapist, your medication, or your church, not instead of them. Think of us as the missing piece, not the whole picture.
Body
The rest, movement and physical toll a crisis takes on you.
Mind
Practical tools for the thoughts that won't quiet down.
Spirit
Faith as a source of strength, never a substitute for treatment.
Four steps. Start with whichever one you're ready for.

Who's behind this
I built this because I needed it, and it didn't exist.
Athena Kabylafkas spent years inside the mental health system, first through NAMI Colorado, then as a certified peer support coach and state trainer. She's sat in support groups, spoken at the Colorado Capitol, and testified in Washington, D.C. about why lived experience belongs in the conversation. She's also lived through her own mental health crisis, and found her way from striving, to surviving, to thriving. Thriving In Recovery is the resource she wishes someone had handed her.
"Recovery is not only possible. It is personal, it is purposeful, and every one of us has the right to a life of hope, healing and wholeness."
